Tobu's design draws on Edo and Nikko references, so details inside the train are worth noticing. Avoid building expectations around unrestricted movement between accommodation areas. Plan the destination separately, with time for local transport and sightseeing; travelling to Tobu-Nikko does not itself include access to shrines, buses or a guided excursion.
