Practical planning

The Cape Town journey is published as three nights over approximately 1,600 km, with stops at Matjiesfontein and Kimberley. Long expeditions require careful visa, vaccination, insurance and luggage planning. Some border procedures and railway conditions are outside the operator’s control.
